About Me
My journey to becoming a therapist is rooted in a deep commitment to addressing mental health disparities. I grew up observing how various aspects of identity, such as race, gender, and socioeconomic background, significantly influence one's mental health. This experience fueled my desire to contribute to a system that provides culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health care, where everyone has access to the support they deserve. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am driven to utilize my skills and cultural understanding to offer effective, compassionate therapy that truly meets you where you are.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me at home enjoying time with my two adorable cats (they may occasionally show up in our sessions if we meet virtually!). I also love getting creative by making miniature dioramas, scrapbooking, and couch-potatoing away with a video game and good snacks. These cherished moments with friends, family, and my hobbies all nurture my capacity for empathy and care in my therapy work.
